## About

> **ameeva // is this *[[Discography|window]]* where I make music**
> on the other side I’m Alex _(Alex Bussé Santacruz, b. in Girona, Spain 1998)_
>
within listening, I found a room I could inhabit with honesty and presence—a space where I could feel whole and understand who I was, what was going on inside me. For a kid who didn’t know how to access his emotions or share them with others, it quickly became a refuge where I felt seen by the artists and records I played.
>
> i believe there’s immense potential in deep listening—how we allow ourselves to truly hear. We can begin to let go of the voices, the distractions that pull us away from what we’re truly feeling. We listen, and then, somehow, something speaks to us. It sees us. It holds us. A feeling of understanding beyond words, touch or sight.
>
> i think of my work as building these rooms—sonic spaces for others to inhabit. Built from within but publicly open to everyone. Places where one might find themselves, just as i did.

> Ameeva is an electro-acoustic composer envisioning music as the creation of intimate emotional rooms. Each composition serves as a chamber where listeners can explore the layers of their feelings, memories, and places, often beyond reach in their conscious state or hectic realities.
>
> With a focus on deep listening, tape looping, tuning and field recordings, Ameeva moves between musicality and noise, weaving intimate soundscapes of repetitive motives and human narratives, capturing the poetics of sound.
